Hey fellas,
Alright, so as promised, here are some shots of the studio I've been talking about forever now, LOL. Seriously, it's been a long time coming, and I'm really excited about it and I know you are, too.
So, with no further ado, let's get right to it. First, were the renovations; my place was originally built in the 1920s, making it a century old, and I like the art deco vibe. I kept the stucco-like wall scheme, merely giving it a couple coats of fresh paint, installed a soundproof wall to close off the living room to just one way in/one way out. A brand new soundproof floor was installed as well, under the hardwood flooring - all very important, since I'm on the third floor, and I I've been told that I have a very "big" voice, LOL.
My living room is HUGE, and in a "L" shape - it's kind of hard to describe from the photos, but the long part of the "L" serves as my studio, while the shorter part of the "L" will be the lounge part of the living room. Right now, I'm working on the studio part, and will come back around to knock out the lounge part later this year, fingers crossed.
To get things up and running, I've opted for a simple Ikea desk setup - a desktop and a pair of horses, befitting my workhorse mentality. Zam suggested the monitor, which I can use with a Macbook or smaller PC. I'm really debating how I'm going to proceed along those lines - I was thinking to really get the best of both worlds, lots of computing power in a compact package, to go with an All In One setup - either an iMac or a PC. I want to keep things as minimalist as possible, while at the same time making it as modular as possible. That's because - and you've probably noticed it looming in the background there in a big cardboard box - I need to be able to easily out of the way for the "secret weapon". That's what's in that big box. I can't WAIT to roll that one out! On either side of the secret weapon, are "zig zag" bookcases - as you can see, I ain't lying when I say that we read in this dojo - and that's not even HALF of all the books I have - I could probably fill another two pairs of such bookcases, LOL. I'm going to take the rest of the books and put them in the lounge part of the living room.
The camera is a Canon EOS 80D - I'm told it's quite the antique at this point, BUT can still get the job done. We're gonna find out soon enough, because, failing a windfall of cash, this is the only cam I've got. Biggups to Zam for the big get here, along with a lot of the other gear you see (sans the secret weapon).
Alright, that's all I got. Let me know what you think fellas - and if you want to contribute to the studio fund, you know what to do: $ObsidianRadio! Thank you!

LOL, first off, shout out to Rob K. Henderson for this one - for turning me onto what's going on in White America, or at least the online version of it at the moment. For years, I've always wondered if there was a White direct one to one analog to notorious effboy Derrick Jaxn. Matthew Hussey doesn't fit the bill: He's a Brit, too wholesome looking, and doesn't have anywhere near the history of the pathologically lying and adulterous Jaxn. And then Andrew Huberman came along.
I'd never heard of Huberman until last fall; I was getting ready for a long day of lectures at the third annual Black Manosphere Conclave, held in Atlanta. I was in my hotel suite, up at the crack of dawn, laying out my suit and shoes for the day, making last minute preps on my presentation to the brothers in the round. In the background on my Macbook, was playing a YouTube interview between Huberman and David Buss, someone I am very familiar with and had interviewed some years back; I've been a ...

Hey fellas,
Just two hours to go until I break my fast for the day, so that gives me some time to add some post-live show thoughts on Ms. "WealthyyWhit", the Black woman I discussed on the live earlier today. While I was live chopping it up with the rest of you, I decided to do some quick back of the envelope math as to Ms. Whitney's expenses; what I noted at the end of today's show, that it totaled over $20K USD over the past two years alone, was in fact accurate.
It's MORE. Quite a bit more, in fact.
Here's a more comprehensive list:
1. Invisalign Dental Work $2K-$10K USD: Not gonna front, Ms. Whitney's teeth look great. Kudos to her on that! And, I'm going to assume that she has a great dental plan, so I'm gonna split the difference here and assume that she's kicking out something like $4K USD, max.
2. Black on Black Yves Saint Laurent bag, $3300 USD from Nordstrom
3. Amazon faux/vegan leather dress, $40 USD
4. Getting her hair did: According to Ms. Letisha Underwood, Ms. Whitney's hair as ...

Of the many truly ironic things Dr. Boyce Watkins has said in his most recent and shameful anti-Kevin Samuels tirade - on the latter's birthday, no less(!) - was that Watkins was supposedly so in favor of Samuels' initial focus on self-improvement for Black men. But the facts are some very stubborn things. Kevin was deeply involved with helping Black men become the best version of themselves going back to at least 2017 - and those now-vintage videos can still be seen on Kevin's YouTube channel - and there was absolutely no evidence in the least that Dr. Watkins was in the comments whatsoever - we certainly know that Dr. Watkins didn't lend his support to Kevin - didn't offer to work together, didn't offer to invest in a business venture dedicated to self-improvement for Black men, didn't have Kevin on his platform in those early years. No, we ONLY heard from the good doctor when Kevin became a household name, courtesy of Worldstar Hip Hop. And while it is true that...
